According to Rocket Spanish creator Mauricio Evlampieff, “Rocket Spanish is the easiest to follow system for learning how to speak Spanish available.” A quick Internet search will show that Rocket Spanish is one of the most reasonably priced language courses offered. Combine the price with a system that is so engaging it makes the customer want to study, and Rocket Spanish is an excellent deal.
With two versions available, Rocket Spanish allows the customer to choose the version that would better suit their needs. Both options have identical language course content. The first version allows the customer to buy a hardcopy of the program. A 25 CD set is shipped directly to the customers door. This version sells for $299.95 plus $49.95 shipping and handling. The Rocket Spanish System
The Rocket Spanish System consists of 31 interactive audio course tracks. Each track averages 25 minutes in length, totaling over 12 hours of repeatable audio lessons. These lessons are intended to take a person from beginner to advanced knowledge in just 3 short months.
The Rocket Spanish interactive system was created to teach Spanish rapidly, effectively, and easily. The audio tracks are not only informative, but extremely easy to listen to and comprehend. The narration is well done, with easy to follow friendly voices. The audio is in MP3 format, making it simple to copy them to any MP3 player or CD.
For those wanting a more grammar intensive course, Rocket Spanish also includes more than 300 pages of grammar for beginners and advanced students alike. Also included with the audio tracks and grammar pages are 3 fun interactive games, MegaVocab, MegaAudio and MegaCards.
MegaVocab
MegaVocab is a vocabulary recall game. With over 2000 words and over 20 topics, MegaVocab is an effective learning tool. If the words you wish to learn aren’t there, or you have already perfected the game, Rocket Spanish allows you to add hundreds of your own pictures and words.
The topics in MegaVocab cover practical vocabulary teaching, such as things you would talk about with you family, or the weather, or even in a classroom. You can choose your comfort level, from beginner to advanced, to keep the game at your learning level. A photo will appear with the English meaning below it. Four options are given and if the correct answer is chosen first maximum points are rewarded.
MegaAudio
MegaAudio is a spoken word recognition game. The MegaAudio game helps beginners to more advanced students recognize over 1000 spoken Spanish words. It helps with the understanding of hearing the Spanish language spoken aloud, which is generally where most people have the most trouble.
The MegaAudio game will show you 6 different pictures with the English word written beneath. The audio track will then say a word in Spanish and you must choose which picture best fits the word. This helps to give any student a very practical grasp of the Spanish language, both pronunciation and comprehensive.
MegaCards
MegaCards are a bonus included in the downloadable version of Rocket Spanish only. MegaCards have a picture, word and phrase which are used to play a memory game. This game is great for practicing pronunciation of words, and showing off your skill to friends and family.
The MegaCards are actually two set of cards. The beginning series has over 150 words and phrases and the advanced series has more than 100 words and phrases. Mix the two together once you feel comfortable for a complete learning review.
